Corn emergence as of the week ending Jun 10^th was 94% complete, finishing slightly ahead of last year’s pace of 93% and the five year average pace of 92%.

A total of 77% of the corn crop was in good or excellent condition as of the week ending Jun 10^th, while just 4% of the corn crop was identified as in poor or very poor condition. The current seasonal good-to-excellent corn conditions were tied for the highest experienced throughout the past 27 years, despite declining slightly from the previous week.

Soybeans:

Soybean plantings as of the week ending Jun 10^th were 93% complete, finishing ahead of last year’s pace of 91% and the five year average pace of 85%.

Soybean emergence as of the week ending Jun 10^th was 83% complete, finishing ahead of last year’s pace of 74% and the five year average pace of 69%.

A total of 74% of the soybean crop was in good or excellent condition as of the week ending Jun 10^th, while just 4% of the soybean crop was identified as in poor or very poor condition. The current seasonal good-to-excellent soybean conditions were tied for the highest experienced on record, despite declining slightly from the previous week.
