U.S. Corn & Soybeans Exports Update – May ’22
According to the USDA, U.S. corn export volumes rebounded seasonally to a ten month high level throughout Mar ’22 but finished 21.4% below previous year figures, declining on a YOY basis for the first time in the past six months. Corn export volumes remained at the second highest seasonal level on record, however.
Mar ’22 U.S. soybean export volumes declined seasonally to a six month low level but finished 38.7% above previous year levels, reaching a three year high seasonal level. The YOY increase in soybean export volumes was the first experienced throughout the past 13 months.
